ARY HERMAWANI have a Degree in Teaching and Education from Widya Mandala Catholic University Surabaya in 2002.
I have experienced 10 years teaching in Sekolah Ciputra in Surabaya – Elementary unit. In addition, for the last 4 years I have held a leadership position, firstly as a grade level team leader for three consecutive rows and currently as a senior coordinator. As ICT coordinator, I worked on the development of school wide ICT resources, both software and hardware. I was also responsible for the implementation and integration of ICT throughout the school to maximize student learning. With my experience in program initiatives, staff development, commitment to student learning and promoting a safe and effective learning environment, I have shown qualities important to being a progressive leader in this school. I see myself as being a leader with vision; to lead the school goals and to promote the philosophy of the school program. I will actively contribute to the development and implementation of a coherent and shared vision for the whole school by maintaining the balance of all aspects, which support the teaching and learning process. |
Sekolah Ciputra is the largest single campus International Baccalaureate (IB) World School in Indonesia and the only IB school in Surabaya and East Java to offer all three International Baccalaureate programmes. These programmes span the years from Play Group to Year 12. The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) provides the educational framework for our students in Play Group, Kindergarten and the Elementary School, the IB Middle Years Programme for Years 7-10 and the IB Diploma Programme for Years 11-12.
Sekolah Ciputra provides a rigorous international education, one which enables students to take an active role in any society while retaining and valuing the customs and traditions of their own cultural backgrounds. The curriculum is broad and balanced with programmes that support the growth of the developing child, encompassing social, physical, ethical, emotional and cultural needs in addition to strong academic development. Programmes across the school are delivered in English by qualified and experienced native English speaking expatriate teachers and IB trained Indonesian teachers. The school enrols students from Indonesia as well as from many countries around the world and works with parents to provide language support to meet the needs of individual students. visit http://www.ciputra-sby.sch.id/ |
